## Welcome Welcome to AI Call Centre. In the next few minutes, you will see exactly how a brand-new customer creates an AI receptionist that answers calls, captures leads, and books jobs — with almost no technical setup. You will follow the same path every new customer takes — signup, templates, knowledge, rules, voice, phone, calendar, testing, and go live — with clear reasons for each setting. ## Account creation Start with account creation. Enter your name, work email, password, and business name. Choose your industry — plumber, electrician, dental clinic, and sixty more — so the platform can pre-load the right templates. Take a moment to choose the industry that best matches your trade. That single choice drives greetings, vocabulary, emergency handling, and starter knowledge so you are not building from a blank page. ## Dashboard overview After signup you land in the customer portal. The dashboard shows calls, leads, and setup progress. Nothing is locked — you can finish onboarding now or explore and come back. From here you can open calls, knowledge, rules, AI training, and billing. The onboarding checklist keeps you focused on the few steps that unlock real inbound answering. ## Business details & industry Your industry choice matters. AI Call Centre applies automatic industry templates — greetings, terminology, emergency handling, FAQs, and suggested rules — so a plumber sounds like a plumber, not a generic chatbot. Review the pre-filled greeting and suggested FAQs. They are starting points — edit anything that does not match how your business speaks to customers on the phone. ## Knowledge base Next, open the knowledge base. Add hours, service areas, pricing policies, and common questions. The AI answers from your documents first — and will not invent prices or facts that are not on file. Add at least your trading hours, suburbs you cover, and a clear pricing policy. Those three documents alone prevent most generic answers and build caller trust on day one. ## Rules engine The rules engine controls behaviour. Collect the caller name, never invent pricing, transfer angry callers, escalate emergencies. Enable, edit, or disable rules — changes apply to the next call immediately. Prefer a few sharp rules over dozens of vague ones. Priority order resolves conflicts — emergencies and angry callers should always outrank routine FAQ handling. ## Greeting & voice Write your greeting script, then choose a voice from the library. Each selectable voice uses a unique neural speaker — accent, tone, and energy are genuinely different. Preview before you save. Keep the greeting short, warm, and specific to your trade. Then preview two or three voices side by side. Customers notice authenticity — identical voices destroy trust. ## Phone number & hours Claim a dedicated Australian phone number for your metro, then set business hours and after-hours behaviour. Callers get a professional line that belongs to your business — not a shared queue. After-hours behaviour is just as important as daytime answering. Decide whether you take messages, offer callbacks, or escalate emergencies overnight. ## Calendar & booking Connect Google Calendar or Cal.com so the receptionist can offer real appointment slots. Bookings land on a calendar your team already uses — no double handling. If you are not ready for Google OAuth in local testing, a Cal.com link still lets the AI offer appointment times. Production teams usually connect Google Calendar for live availability. ## Test call & review Place an in-app test call. Speak as a customer, ask about coverage or pricing, and watch the AI use your knowledge and rules. Adjust speech speed, friendliness, and silence gap until it feels right. Ask the test caller about your suburb, an emergency, and a price. You should hear knowledge, escalation, and the no-invented-pricing rule in action before a real customer ever dials. ## Go live When you are happy, go live. Your AI receptionist is now ready to answer calls — capturing leads, following your rules, and booking work while you stay focused on the job. Share the number with your team, monitor the first day of calls in analytics, and refine knowledge based on real questions. Momentum beats perfection — you can iterate after go live.
